Erin Cliffe is a Licensed Clinical Social Work and a Certified Advanced Addiction & Drug Counselor. She graduated with honors from Widener University in 2004 after obtaining her BA in Psychology along with certificates in Gerontology, Child and Family Services, Counseling Psychology. Erin served as Vice President of the Widener MSW Student Organization and as an officer on the Widener University MSW Advisory Board. She also graduated with honors from Delaware State University in 2014 after obtaining her Master’s in Social Work. She worked as a research assistant on “Teaching Mobile Device-Based Leisure to Adults With Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability” (Nepo et al.) Erin carries 17 years of clinical experience as well as previous work as a clinical supervisor overseeing an outpatient setting and teaching an LCSW prep course for other master’s level clinicians. Erin has expertise in diagnostics and previously was a teacher’s assistant for Psychopathology courses.
In addition to her educational background, Erin has experience with all populations including adults, geriatric, adolescents and children, with diagnosis’ ranging from Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar and Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders, Eating Disorders, Gender Dysphoria, Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders, Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders, Neurocognitive Disorders, and Paraphilic Disorders. She is trained in CBT, MI, TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR and other treatment modalities. She has an extensive background with crisis management for suicidal, homicidal and psychotic clients. Erin is currently obtaining her certification as an advanced Clinical Trauma Professional. Erin also is experienced in spiritual counseling.
Erin provides a safe space to talk openly about your goals, concerns, and needs. She will work with you to dig deep into the core issues that can become challenging. She believes that we all have the ability to heal and live the best life possible with support and knowledge.
